she was five, Jenny has delighted in grabbing the mic and entertaining
audiences. As a child, she adored and looked up to Divas such
as Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand, Liza Minelli, and Billie
Holiday. Ten years later, she discovered the power of rock
and blues, falling in love with the passion of Janis Joplin, Etta
James, Robert Plant and others. Whether she's delivering jazz, rock,
blues, or pop, Jenny loves bringing glamour and fire to it all.
After winning multiple scholarships to the Berklee
College of Music in Boston, MA, she became an East coast resident
to study Music Business. In 2005, she led her own Blues Rock
band "Black Betty and The Bad Habits" to
local fame, being named one of the "Top 12 Blues Band in Boston" by
the Boston Blues Society and winner of the radio sponsored Cape Cod's RJL
Battle of the Bands Competition. Soon after, she had
the pleasure of working with producer Bob Yen, Jr. (Steely Dan,
Allman Brothers, Larry Paxton, Susan Tedeschi, Eddie Beyers) on
her band's debut album "Voodoo
Man". You can now hear her music on several major, college,
internet and XM stations.
